Berean Standard Bible
30Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your life and with all your mind and with all your strength.
The Greek *psychēs* (ψυχῆς) is rendered "life" rather than the conventional "soul," consistent with the Pioneer Translation's treatment of nephesh/psychē as referring to one's living being rather than an immaterial soul. The fourfold construction — heart, life, mind, strength — preserves the exhaustive, all-encompassing force of the command as Jesus quotes the Shema in its expanded Markan form.
Berean Standard Bible
30Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’
King James Version
30And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Goodspeed New Testament
30and you must love the Lord your God with your whole heart, your whole soul, your whole mind, and your whole strength.’
